What a horrendous tragedy 💔
This is not the first time a densely packed crowd has led to multiple deaths and unfortunately, it won’t be the last. Contrary to intuitive assumptions of many, these deaths do not typically occur because of a stampede of panicked people, but instead due to phenomena known as crowd crush and crowd collapse.
