Firstly sorry my my croaky voice the hay fever is really getting to me this year 🤧 😩 so today I thought I would show you what sort of growth you can aim for in your first year of growing Musa basjoo from a small plant in the ground here in the uk .

I Put these banana plants into the ground on the 7th of June 2021 and they have now been in the ground for exactly 1 year I know In the video I said 7th of May but i meant to say 7th of June.

I can’t believe how tall they are already this year and how many leaves they have already produced, Ifs a shame about the unseasonably strong winds shredding the leaves all the time ... But I’m hoping for a lot of calm and hot weather coming into summer 🤞🏼(here’s to hoping)😂

I feed my bananas once a week with either liquid seaweed fertiliser or miracle grow and they respond really well to it . They are hungry plants 🌱 🌴😂 once again thank you for watching guys !
