The National Advisory Committee on Immunization (NACI) has new guidelines on which Canadians should receive a third COVID-19 vaccine dose.
Frontline healthcare workers, seniors over age 80 and adults in First Nations, Metis and Inuit Comunities are strongly recommended to get their booster shot at least six months after a second.
In the meantime, parents are waiting for Canada to approve a shot for children aged five to 11. Jamie Mauracher reports.
