With Derry City being UK City of Culture in 2013, St. Columb’s Park in the heart of the city once again echoed to the sound of rally cars with Maiden City Motor Club's Lark in the Park Rally. The World Rally Cars of Derek McGeehan and Kieron Graffin were strongly fancied but it was the older Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 6 of Richard Hogg that was to win, by a margin of 8 seconds.
