This central palletiser was installed in 2009 and is still going strong. Receiving over 9,000 cartons per hour from 27 packing lines, with 16 robots and 32 pallet stations the system outputs over 100 wrapped pallets per hour.
The system is serviced by AGV delivering stacks of empty pallets and taking the finished pallets away.
Featuring ABB 4600 robots the system uses custom rail shuttles to transfer the pallets from pallet preparion to each station then on to the stretch wrapper..
