We visited the boat show and learned so much about boating in Mauritius. There was also a massive science research vessel docked and a luxury 8 sleeper catamaran, which of course we explored. Apparently Mauritius actually builds boats of all sizes. We learned info on buying a fishing / speed boats and taking cruises. There is even a liveaboard catamaran available that you can stay on while cruising around Mauritius. Reef conservation had their mobile classroom on display which we checked out.
