Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, construction is expected to begin Monday on parts of County Road 81 and Brooklyn Boulevard in Brooklyn Park, county officials told CCX News. Hennepin County and the city of Brooklyn Park have partnered to reconstruct 81 between West Broadway and 83rd Avenues, as well as Brooklyn Boulevard between Xylon Avenue and Jolly Lane.
