As part of our Jordan Vacation, we found ourselves staying in the town of Wad Musa for 3 nights, in part to ensure we could experience Petra By Night in our itinerary. So with 1 evening taken up with that experience, it left us with 2 others to fill (as you can not stay in the ancient site of Petra after the sun goes down). My online research of 'Things to do in Wadi Musa' brought up 'Petra Kitchen, Wadi Musa' cooking class in Petra. In this evening's travel Vlog, you'll see us learning how to make traditional Jordanian food and middle eastern cuisines such as making Galaya Bandura, Fattoush Salad, Shoraba Adass which is a red lentil soup, a Tahinah Salad (or Tahinin salad?), Motabol and Siniyat Dijaj. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience that turned out to be a private middle eastern cooking class (assuming due to low visitor numbers) and one I'd recommend to others who like us, like to learn as much as possible on our travels and have something exciting we can return home with that isn't another trinket ready to collect dust.
