Upon my arrival in Bishkek Kyrgyzstan I went for a walk around the city center and sampled some local drinks and food. One of the most popular drinks in Bishkek is Maksym, you find it almost on every corner of the street. I decided to test it and I must say it is an acquired taste that I didn't acquire yet. I've also tried aralash which is a mix of maksym and chalap (another popular drink in Kyrgyzstan). You'll have to try it yourself to really know how it is.

In the end of the video I tried Beshbarmak which is the national dish of Kyrgyzstan and also Kazachstan apparently. It's with horse meat and dough pieces.
