►Braking has always been a Porsche strong suit, and the rear set in an air-cooled 911 is like most other cars. In contrast to the fronts, the rears are a much simpler job with fewer steps and time involved. Regardless, it's still a great way to connect with your vintage sports car and save some money on simple maintenance.
Any juddering or shaking through the steering wheel as you brake is indicative of an issue that can be solved with a brake rotor and pad replacement. The rotors can warp, and the pads can leave uneven deposits, causing a shaking sensation. Both reduce braking ability, so replacement is the best option.
