Hi all! Today, we discuss what the Harvard Asian Admission Lawsuit revealed: Harvard admissions office's reading procedures. While this is specific to Harvard, many top tier institutions, like Yale, Princeton, Stanford, utilize similar procedures to rate applicants. In explaining how the rating system works and what it means for you, the applicant, I also integrate my own take on whether the current reading procedures are fair and effective, as well as how race and socioeconomic classes are affected.
