Today I visited the Belen in Algorfa town plaza .
Every town in Spain has one and each one is different. The Belen depicts the nativity story of the birth of the baby Jesus and it has numerous model buildings and figures showing different stages of the Christmas story
If you are in Spain this Christmas , you must go and see one, you won't be disappointed and can be amazed at all the hard work that goes into creating each scene. It is a very moving experience.
I then look at some of the Christmas decorations in the town plaza, which looks so Christmassy.
