Fight childhood cancer by joining us for the 2017 Parkway Run & Walk on Sunday, September 24. [ Ссылка ]

The annual event starts at 8 a.m. on Eakins Oval. It includes a 5K run and a family fun walk.

Last year the event drew more than 10,000 participants, many of them children, families and friends affected by childhood cancer. They raised more than $1 million to benefit cancer research and care at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

CHOP has one of the best pediatric cancer programs in the world, treating more than 550 newly diagnosed cancer patients every year.
