Auditing fisheries is great. It helps give me a bigger picture of venues I wouldn’t normally see and also provides you guys with a very detailed vision of what to expect.
I fished the venue early 2023 before the work started and bagged up on Bream. There were carp showing but not many coming out. Just a week after all the new banks and pegs have been installed there’s anglers doing 200lb+ bags in the open matches. Normally a heavy stocking, rebuild and water rise of any venue knocks fishing off for a while, but not here.
Here I walk around the entire venue giving you a look at some great walkways and I even bumped into my reservoir pal Mr Nick Speed. In good old Speedy fashion no more than 2 minutes passed after his next cast before the tip was round banking an immaculate newly stocked Carp.
An absolute beautiful venue and one you really need to visit soon. I’m guessing the future for this reservoir is very very bright for the match and carp scene👏🏼
