DOES A SALES CAREER ENHANCE WOMEN'S HEALTH AND WELL BEING?

According to the highly acclaimed sales leadership guru, Sue Barrett, it does.

Before I discussed this with Sue I felt that sales is a stressful career so how can it be good for women's heath and well being.

Well in this discussion Sue put me right.

She argues that a sales career gives women agency. That is, it is one of the best careers to enable women to be in control of their destiny. "Learning the craft of professional selling is very empowering for women because it opens many doors. It can be their ticket to a better life, better careers, better job prospects, choices and money".

I would love to hear your view - particularly if you are a female in sales. Do you think you career choice has been good for your health and well-being.
