The local chert in my area, onondaga chert is know for being susceptible to acidic environments, in fact all the arrowhead hunting finds I have found so far that have been made from onondaga have been acidified to some certain extent. So I thought it would be cool to test some points I knapped out of onondaga and put them in acid (5% vinegar) and see the colour change.
