Meningitis and Meningococcal Hints with Doctor Kaddy
This disease is similar to the flu so you need to watch out for fever that remains high and won't go away, nausea or vomiting, feeling tired or floppy, rapid breathing, horrible headache - and for babies a bulge on the soft spot on their head - a stiff neck or extreme pains to the eyes or head when the lights are turned on.
Not everyone who contracts meningitis will get a rash. Don’t wait for a rash to appear before getting help.
