During Cross the Pond, air traffic control coverage is optimized for pilots to fly across the Atlantic ocean while receiving full air traffic control (ATC) coverage along the way. As one of the only times of the year where full air traffic control coverage is guaranteed in oceanic airspace, Cross the Pond offers the unique opportunity to see procedures that aren't available every day.

In this pilot briefing, VATSIM controllers and oceanic procedures experts will cover departure procedures, oceanic operations, and tips for the arrival into Europe/Africa. This live session will be perfect for pilots who have a slot to participate in October's Cross the Pond, as well as those looking for some reminders on best practices for online network flying.
