Latin music sensation Ozuna is set to light up the big screen with Odisea, a feature film that chronicles his inspiring journey from humble beginnings to global stardom. The Grammy-winning reggaeton and trap artist will star as himself, delivering a heartfelt portrayal of the personal and professional challenges that shaped his meteoric rise.
Odisea is the first project from Ozuna’s production company, Bear with Oz Films, and is directed by acclaimed Spanish filmmaker Alexis Morante. The film takes its name from Ozuna’s record-breaking 2017 debut album, Odisea, which spent an astonishing 46 weeks at No. 1 on the Top Latin Albums chart. Born Jan Carlos Ozuna Rosado in Puerto Rico, the 32-year-old artist overcame numerous obstacles to become one of the most influential figures in Latin music. Ozuna has achieved 29 Top 10 hits on Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs chart, including five chart-topping singles. With five No. 1 albums to his name and a legacy that continues to grow, he is a true icon in the global music scene.
Filmed in stunning locations such as Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, and New York City, Odisea features a blend of Ozuna’s greatest hits and new music composed exclusively for the film. The movie’s star-studded cast includes Jorge Lendeborg Jr., Dania Ramírez, Ana María Estupiñán, Jencarlos Canela, Jessica Cediel, Laura Gómez, Israel Lugo, Sawandi Wilson, and the Queen of Merengue, Milly Quezada.
