In this video, we're getting ready for serious rebar work and show you our tried-and-true method for tying up those cages.

You'll see us use 16 duplex nails spaced 6 or 8 inches apart to ensure zero movement when the concrete is poured. This method keeps everything nice and tight, providing a strong, durable build. While it might take a bit longer, we make up the time using our rebar-tying guns, keeping us efficient and on track.

Every vertical rebar, ranging from 84 to 88 inches, is custom-cut to match the terrain and is spaced 6 inches in the center for this project (though we usually do 12 inches). After the verticals go in, we get ready to put the horizontals 12 inches on center using number 5 rebar. This method might look detailed, but it's kept us issue-free for over five years, and we're all about precision.
