Home hospital patients receive medical care in their own home, including a remote monitoring system that continuously surveys their vital signs through a skin patch. Patients also receive an array of in-home diagnostics including bedside blood work, x-rays and ultrasounds and are able to video conference with their providers as needed. Patients are carefully evaluated to determine if they are candidates for home hospital care.
