Are you feeling overwhelmed with all the blogging and Pinterest tasks, especially when it comes to taking blog photography? Does it take you forever to take your own photos, and even when you manage to get them done, they look scrappy? Which, in turn, makes your pins look semi-professional, and you're just wondering how other people are keeping up with all that work. Are all bloggers professional photographers?

No way. Today I'm talking all about stock images for Pinterest. Stock photos or stock photography are photos professional photographers have taken, but they royalty-free, meaning the photographer has waived its right to the photos, and you're allowed to use those photos on your blog or Pinterest pin without permission. Now, If you're a blogger or business that's maybe not in the food or lifestyle niche where your own images are super important, you can rely on stock photos to make your blog and pins look super professional.

When I first started on Pinterest, I thought I had to take all my own photos. Let me tell you; it was a disaster. I was working full time and then blogging on the weekend. It took me all Saturday or Sunday to shoot photos, and then I just slapped them on my blog because I was exhausted. As you can imagine, my first blog and Pinterest account failed miserably. But things have completely changed for me, and it can for you too.

I use stock photos in most of my pins now, and I rarely take own my photos. Yes, this doesn't work in every niche, So if you're a food blogger or lifestyle blogger, people want to see your own recipes and content. But in many other niches, especially when it comes to informational content, stock photos are a game-changer. So in today's video, I'm going to walk you through what stock photos are, where you can get them and how to use them to create viral Pins. Ok, let's do this!
