#Turkey has blamed the #EU for an incident dubbed #Sofagate in which European Commission chief Ursula von der Leyen was left without a chair during a meeting with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. FRANCE 24’s Brussels correspondent Dave Keating says the incident was unfortunate given the meetings had intended to soothe the bloc’s ties with Turkey.
