This is a bottom loading cremation urn, and can be sealed temporarily with the four removable screws included, or for a permanent closure we recommend using a small amount of an adhesive. The quality alder wood base measures: 12 ½" wide x 11 ½" tall x 5 ½" deep, and it will hold up to 200 cubic inches of cremains, great size for an adult. As more personal touch for your loved one, we offer the option of requesting up to four lines of text to have engraved; engraving can be done directly to the urn or on a brass name plate on a hand crafted wooden easel.
