On October 9, 2020 Missouri State Treasurer Scott Fitzpatrick announced a new partnership with the St. Louis Regional Chamber to promote an initiative encouraging inclusion and equity for employees with disabilities. The Missouri Treasurer’s Office administers the MO ABLE program for Missourians with disabilities. Through MO ABLE, Missourians with disabilities can open MO ABLE accounts at discounted rates, receive a tax-free savings plan for disability related expenses, and save and invest without losing federal needs-based benefits. The MO ABLE Program is essential to Missourians with disabilities and helps bolster two of the Regional Chamber’s top priorities – workforce & economic development.
