How To Play Life In The Fast Lane Guitar Lesson | Lead Guitar Tutorial
In this lesson James teaches both parts of Life In The Fast Lane and then shows a Third variant that has a little bit of everything in it for the lone student!
The first lick comprises mainly Pentatonic notes with the odd Chromatic note thrown in for good measure. I find it’s like a bar of soap and constantly on the move. Take your time and be patient.
The second lick duplicates lick one but is an Octave higher than previously. I find this one sits under the fingers a little bit easier. Keep an eye out for that Semiquaver push in the third bar.
The third lick presented is a mix of the two. I took the approach of how I would play this in a gig scenario when I am the only guitarist on stage. In my own practice this is how i would play the song just for fun.
