John and his brother grew some wild hops this year and John put the cones to the test in his standard 1 gallon SMASH beer process.

I've known John and his brothers for quite some time and I've known them to do some crazy things. So this fell right in line with what I'd expect for them as a team.

A wild hop plant growing near by was being threatened by some construction in the area. The plant was dug up and replanted amongst Jim's "hop yard". When the cones came to fruition they dried them and packaged them up. What follows is John brewing up a one gallon SMASH beer with Wild hops.
