What to see in Verona Italy - Today we are visiting the city of Romeo and Juliet, the beautiful Verona Italy. Verona is a very old city. In fact it was still a significant city in Roman time. For this reason, there are a lot of Roman landmarks still standing today in Verona. We start our visit from the Arena. This was the roman amphitheater that is perfectly preserved. In fact, it is still used in modern times for Operas and concerts. From the Arena we walk to the house of Juliet. This is one of the busiest attractions in Verona. We were lucky that the line wasn't too bad and we were able to go see the famous balcony in no time. From there, we continue to Piazza delle Erbe. This piazza was the Forum of the Roman city of Verona. Nowadays, it is a beautiful piazza with a charming market in the middle and many cafes and restaurants all around it. After a typical Verona lunch, w continue our visit to the Piazza dei signori, the political center of Medieval Verona. We then visit the Scaliger tombs on our way to Romeo's house. Our next stop is the old Roman Bridge, Ponte in Pietra, that crosses the river Adige. From the bridge, we visit the ancient Verona Cathedral. Our tour of what to see in Verona, Italy continues at Castel Vecchio and the Castel Vecchio bridge. This icon bridge of Verona Italy was unfortunately bombed during war world two by the Germans retreating from Verona. After the war, the bridge was restored to its ancient glory. We finish our visit to Verona, Italy, back at the roman Arena.

In March 2017, Rick and Andrea (confessed Travel Addicts) started a Facebook Group called Travel Addicts as a way to share their travel photos and videos not just with their own respective friend's lists – but with the world. Part of the reason was for bragging rights (I mean, that’s kind of the point of sharing photos, right?), but also to help answer questions to others about the destinations they have visited.
After inviting some of our friends and family, it grew and grew – and as of June 2019, the group has grown to over 200,000 members! One reason for our success, we believe, is that we have done our best to ensure only high-quality photos and videos get shared, all while limiting the use of commercial content.
