Meet Atty Jose Amelito Belarmino, University of Westminster alumnus, Chevening scholar, and a #StudyUKAlumniAwards National Finalist for Business and Innovation Award.

Atty. Belarmino is an experienced data privacy lawyer with extensive knowledge of data privacy laws including the EU General Data Protection Regulation, the UK Data Privacy Act and the Philippine Data Privacy Act, among others. He has worked in the field both locally and abroad. He serves as bar and mandatory continuing legal education lecturer on various technology laws in the Philippines, and has been a resource speaker on data privacy, e-commerce and information security. At present, he works as Director for Global Privacy of Marriott International for Europe, Middle East and Africa.
