In 1994 Artistic Director Warner Shook made it possible for Intiman to produce the first regional production of ANGELS IN AMERICA after its Broadway success, and 20 years later his brave production still haunts those who attended. We're proud to share this magnificent and magical play with new and returning audiences.
The 2013 festival ushered in almost 15,000 audience members to see 77 performances of 4 critically acclaimed productions, and to participate in 20 audience talkbacks, 11 afterparties, and 15 special events. Over 100 local artists united to produce a professional, entertaining, and provocative festival, and 30 interns participated in our immersive internship program.
