**SOLIDWORKS Connected can now save locally in addition to the cloud. The 'Save to this PC' command is to be used to save data to your local hard drive, which includes your local cache. The export command has been removed in place of this update.**
In this video tutorial, you will learn about 3 major topics: Opening SOLIDWORKS data from both your local storage and from 3DEXPERIENCE once saved to the platform, saving data to the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, and exporting both native SOLIDWORKS files and non-native file formats.
This data includes your SOLIDWORKS part, assembly, and drawing files that result from your 3D part modeling and computer-aided design (CAD), meaning that you can easily work inside of your SOLIDWORKS program and seamlessly access your files in synchronization with your online, web browser-based platform.
This is the third video in an eight-part video series (3/8) to teach you about some of the basic concepts you will run into with your 3DEXPERIENCE SOLIDWORKS software.
