"Puer natus est nobis" (A boy is born for us) is a Gregorian chant, the introit for Christmas Day.
This video was 100% automatically created in less than 9 minutes using pure python. This includes wave correlation to determine mutually optimal sync, gridding and rendering the video, and mixing the final audio.
I have been working on python software to streamline and simplify the process of creating virtual choir videos. Clement kindly created four raw tracks as a demo. The software was able to load the tracks, automatically find the optimal sync from the lead-in claps, mix the final audio and render out the gridded final video--all completely hands off--in under 9 minutes from start to finish:

As we've been developing the code and testing different songs, a number of cool features and capabilities have emerged. You can do a quick manual fix of any sync problems using audacity (and the run the software again.) You can provide and title page and a credits page that are smoothly dissolved from/to. You can sync based on the content of the music. You can mute all the video tracks if you prefer to record audio separately and lip sync.
