Frost with Focus 3.0. Now we finally have the frame we always wanted. Before, it was difficult to build good full strip setups. You'd need to balance range and efficiency to run it, since the 250 strength requirement was so restrictive. But now? We can do it all. Back with the Augment pass, we gained 4 new augments including Biting Frost. I've always argued this should be part of his passive, but at the very least it's strong enough it makes up for some failings in his kit.

Ever since that augment, I've always mentioned how it's better to always either build for full strip, or build for Biting Frost, since that mod doesn't scale with strength. Trying to get the range to make Biting Frost useful, but full stripping and also sustaining the energy was so difficult because now you even had to fit one extra mod on. It was also completely overkill for the funsies, and the cost was too great for said fun. But Focus 3.0 was the game changer. Now we can actually run Biting Frost, essentially full strip, and also high range! The build I'm showing you today has either 205 or 220 range, depending on whether you're using Zenurik or Madurai to sustain the strength needed. This will grant you a 30.75 or 33m radius Avalanche, which is enough to freeze at least half a tile and ignores line of sight.

I'm showcasing Zenurik first because this Frost has an energy problem; he burns over 1200 energy a minute. This is an insane amount, even my Protea build from a few months ago used "only" 800 energy a minute. Most of my builds are between 300-500. So how did we manage this? That's why I waited this long, because I needed Emergence Dissipate, a new Angels of the Zariman arcane to cover it. Energize gives 600 energy a minute, Zenurik gives 300, this is on top of natural orb drops. Then Emergence Dissipate now covers the missing 300 energy. The new arcane, plus Hardened Wellspring frees up two slots on Frost, letting us both slot Biting Frost and Primed Flow to actually sustain the range, strip, energy and crazy augment crit buffs.

We even pair this with a new Laetum build today to take advantage of the quirks from Overwhelming Attrition. We have a full crit build that even does oranges but still works with Evo 5. How? Well, watch and you'll find out!
