Video showing how these old retro vintage (or obsolete depending on your POV!) televisions can still be used with modern equipment such as DVD player or digital DVB / Freesat set-top box. RF (UHF) modulator used to convert the audio/video to a signal these TVs can use. I use a cheap 'MINI AV TO RF' box I bought from eBay.
Also, a short troubleshooting piece explaining what can be the cause of power supply faults on portable devices of a similar age, portable radio cassettes, etc . Useful if you have a portable device that is in need of repair, or will not power up and batteries and/or mains power is not working. Devices that came with multiple power input capabilities, were all prone to issues with the power socket switches. This is because the sockets are a dust trap, especially old equipment that has not been used for a long period of time, and can easily contaminate the switch contacts.
UHF broadcast channels and frequencies is also briefly talked about.
