I do enjoying Selden's In Mast furlilng. It makes solo sailing my boat so much easier. My previous boat had a hanked on jib and there were no lazy jacks on the main. It was a lot of work to get the sails up, back down and secured.

I know there are a lot of opinions about furling sails, especially furling main sails. But so far, my experience has been very positive. And I am not sailing the southern ocean conditions either. One of the advantages of in mast furling is that I have infinite furling points. And furling in and out is simple enough that I dont hesitate if I think it is needed.

I thought some people may be interested in the process. I am not an expert. I am just sharing what works for me on my boat.
