The Co-op is campaigning to tackle loneliness with the British Red Cross. Bereavement is a key trigger of loneliness. Co-op Funeralcare will expand and develop their social groups for the bereaved, which will provide thousands of people across the country with ongoing care and social support at a crucial time in their lives as part of a range of measures to tackle loneliness by the Co-op.
