Often times I get questions about counts of crime per street. This video provides a tutorial on how to dissolve and break streets at intersections then spatially join crime to the street segments. The video also includes the Near tool since the crime were offset, wanted to find the nearest XY to the closest street.

*Note: I highly recommend spending time cleaning your street layer to reflect the potential for crime to occur there.
