(2 Apr 1977) British Prime Minister James Callaghan and West German Chancellor Helmut Schmidt have been meeting with other "Social Democratic" leaders at a conference in Oslo. The two leaders joined with Norwegian Prime Minister, Mr Nordli, and Mr Joergensen, the Prime Minister of Denmark, in attending a conference of European Social Democratic parties and Trade Union Confederations, called to discuss economic policy and employment.
