As the farmers’ agitation entered Day 14, government's negotiations with farm unions to end the protests reached a critical point with the Centre submitting in writing the amendments it proposes to the contentious three bills. According to the latest update, Farmers have rejected government's proposal and have called for a nationwide sit-in protest on December 14. Farmers also said that the Delhi-Jaipur highway will be blocked by December 12. On December 12, all toll plazas across the country to be freed, they said.

Speaking to India Today's Ankit Tyagi exclusively, BJP leader RP Singh said, "Now, it doesn't seem to be a farmers agitation, it seem to be a political agenda."
