Tragedy struck in Bandipora, Jammu and Kashmir, on January 4 when an Army vehicle veered off the road and plunged into a deep gorge near the Wular Viewpoint. Two soldiers were confirmed dead, and three others were severely injured in the accident. The injured were immediately brought to the District Hospital, where two were declared dead, and the other three were referred to Srinagar for advanced medical care. Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident. The incident has deeply saddened the region, with condolences pouring in from all sides.
