As a last attempt to save his Undavalli private guesthouse let out to former CM Chandrababu, Industrialist Lingamaneni Ramesh has moved High Court. With CRDA served notices to his river-front residence alleging that it flouted the rules, Lingamaneni moved the High Court seeking an Injunction Order against the CRDA which is on a demolition drive across the bank of river Krishna in capital region.
The High Court has taken up Lingamaneni's petition. After hearing the arguments of both parties, the HC bench has postponed the hearing for Monday. It can be noted that Lingamaneni had also wrote a letter to AP CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and expressed his worry over his guesthouse. He made it clear that letting out his guesthouse to ex CM Naidu has no political agenda and no financial benefit other than rent. Lingamaneni said he would extend similar help to any political party chief irrespective of the party. He said it was officials who had requested him for his guesthouse for then CM Chandrababu and he said he had obliged.
