When you move an image from Lightroom to Photoshop and Back, all your RAW adjustments are gone and hence changes are not non-destructive. In this episode, I have an AMAZING Lightroom to Photoshop Workflow tip that will allow you to keep all the RAW information intact.

Once you finish editing your image in Lightroom, how do you import it into Photoshop? You usually go to Photo, Edit In, Adobe Photoshop CC 2017 (or any version), right? Or maybe you right click and go to Edit in, Photoshop. But once you do that, your image will load up flattened with all the adjustments applied and there's no going back.

Suppose, after importing it into Photoshop, you wish you had brightened it up a little in lightroom or decreased the vibrance. But now, you can't reverse the process. You will have to either compromise the quality of a RAW image and add an adjustment layer or import it again.

In this video, I'm going to tell you how to retain the flexibility and the settings from Lightroom whenever you transfer and import images from Lightroom to Photoshop. You'll be surprised to know that even the adjustment brushes are retained. This will allow you to keep your workflow non-destructive hence proving to be extremely helpful when you're working with layers as in composites or image manipulations, you can always go back and adjust your image with all camera and lightroom info still intact.
