The Jawaharlal Nehru University campus went dark at 8.30 p.m. on January 24, just half an hour before the Students' Union was set to show the first episode of the two-part BBC documentary, 'India: The Modi Question.' The documentary has been pulled down by YouTube and Twitter on orders from the Centre. Around 10.30 p.m., some stones were hurled at a group of students who had gathered to see the documentary, it was not clear where these had come from. Power was restored just after midnight, when a group of students viewed sections of the documentary on their phones and computers in protest of what they claimed was an intentional blackout.
