Unfortunately there is a mythology which permeates our culture in modern society, especially about elderly and senior citizens.
People mistakenly believe that seniors cannot get the life changing benefits of real exercise that ALL of our high intensity strength training clients have been getting this entire time!
All biological changes happen only by intense stimulus - and the stimulus WE seek to change our lives is EXERCISE.
Real exercise is safe, productive, and efficient. If you have not yet read the book Body by Science by Dr. Doug McGuff and John Little, please consider checking it out - it describes the mountain of evidence leading to high intensity strength training being the ONLY logical way for seniors and elderly to train.
This can be done at home or in a gym setting or even in a studio 1 on 1. I simply don't have the time any longer to take 1 on 1 training clients any longer but I do have a coaching program if you need to learn to administer the workout yourself, I'll be opening enrollment again in a month or so.
