This may be the first time since WWII that live full auto 50's were shot from a ball turret. You can come along and shoot the ball turret with us at Big Sandy or you can fly in the ball turret at Bomber Camp. www.bombercamp.org
No, it is not normal for the links to eject inside of the turret. the original link chute adapter was causing the links to jam the gun in the feedway so we removed it and let the links of the right gun fall inside of the turret. next year we will fix this so all of the links and shells will eject outside of the turret like they are supposed to.
