On September 11th, 2001 hijacked aircrafts were flown into the World Trade Centers in New York, the Pentagon in DC, and a field in Shanksville, PA. By the end of the day, 2,996 people would lose their lives, with countless more in the years to come from mental and health related issues born from these events. This attack left the nation reeling as it affected not just our country, but the entire world. Out of this day, a 20 year war was born and a never ending domino effect began to take place.
