This is the history/evolution of YouTube’s Subscribe button from 2005 when YouTube was created, up until 2024 (and beyond in the future, including 2050, 2075, 3022, and 5555, which is actually a funny cat video ending xP)! It took a VERY long time to find each button and to confirm them, but I’m still not 100% sure if they’re all accurate, mainly the specific years :P. Shoutout to Wayback Machine though, it helped a lot! I also showed the more recent (somewhat "new feature") glow animation/Subscribe button lights up rainbow animation when you say the word “Subscribe” out loud! Are the future Subscribe buttons kind of like an easter egg btw? 🤔 This isn't about the skip button though :P.
