The sentence by comes a day after Khan was sentenced to ten years in prison for disclosing state secrets in another case, and only a week before national elections.
In August, another court sentenced Khan to three years in prison for selling presents worth more than 140 million rupees ($501,000) in state possession and received during his 2018-2022 premiership.
