How-To: Hook up propane cannister, turn the gas on, switch the generator to "Choke" mode, pull the cord 3-5 times (strong pulls), then switch it quickly to propane on the selector switch, and pull the cord hard again. It should start up right away.
I highly recommend this generator, as it's stable, safe for sensitive electronics, and it sips fuel (~34 hours on a tank of propane). Because it can use both propane and gasoline, it's excellent for emergencies. You don't have to worry about your propane going bad like gasoline can if it is not stored properly.
