Hi again.
Pedro Aznar is, in my opinion, the most talented musician (at least in the popular -non "classical"- music field) ever born in Latin America. This Argentinean multi-instrumentalist and composer is a true genius to me and, after hearing his version of Antonio Carlos Jobim's "How Insensitive", I put the bass solo included in his version in my list of the most beautiful bass solos ever recorded. That's why I started studying it and wanted to record the result of many practice hours. My phrasing isn't as smooth as Mr. Aznar's, so I couldn't recreate the beauty of the original version the way I would liked to. Anyway, it's a (sort of decent) way to help spreading the work and name of this outstanding musician. (I'm referring to Pedro Aznar, of course. :D)
Fortunately, the bass solo was recorded on the center channel, so the karaoke filter I applied to hide it was very effective. That's how I could play my version over the original recording with just the accompaniment track. Hope you find it interesting. Thanks for watching! :)
Hmm... forgot that, at the measure between 1:47 and 1:49, the accompanying bass plays G - C, so the Gmin6 that I put there is actually a C9 chord (same Gmin6 but a C on the root). Sorry for the mistake.
